Sam is a policy professional with experience in local government, state legislative affairs, and policy development. Joining Neighborhood Forward in April 2023, Sam supports the firm’s outreach and lobbying programs, working with clients to ensure project success.

 

Prior to joining Neighborhood Forward, Sam worked at the LA County Department of Public Health. In her time with Public Health, she successfully oversaw multiple policy campaigns throughout the County related to tobacco control and developed implementation strategies for the County’s health policies. While in graduate school, Samantha gained state legislative experience, interning with top lobbying firms in Arizona.   

 

Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a Masters of Public Policy from Arizona State University.

 

Sam is also a member of the 2023 cohort of the Rautenberg New Leaders Project with the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and a huge Dodgers fan.
